Item 022PM1 - Now here's a very nice piece I have not seen before. Even though this is not a rare piece it is really pretty. The ring is 10kt yellow gold a size 6 1/4 and weighs 3.25 grams. The top of the ring measures 14mm with a tapered 2.8mm band. The ring is set with a center 6mm Almandite garnet (deep red) and is surrounded by ( 6 ) one chipped, 2mm older Rhodolite of almost a raspberry color. These Rhodolite are from the late 19th century which leads me to believe they were remounted or used to make this ring 50 years later. In the sun they show a pinkish shade. Ring is in very fine condition. Size 6.5.
