When Alex Soldier arrived in the United States from Russia in 1990, he worked independently -- he still does. He designs contemporary designer jewelry in 18k gold and platinum, using colorful precious gemstones and brilliant diamonds. His neo-classically influenced bridal collection, with its stackable engagement and wedding rings, is refreshingly one-of-a-kind. However, the earrings, pendants, and cocktail rings in his couture collection are also amazingly exquisite and sought after. One of Alex Soldier's goals is to achieve a precise balance of light and form, presenting the piece in the most exquisite way possible.
